I have owned similar goggle-sunglasses for a number of years. I wanted the largest size available that was very low-profile unlike true ski goggles that tend to hold the lens some distance from your eyes. I also like the fact these sunglasses protect a good part of my face from the sun and not just my eyes. The color through the lens is normal gray so they’re safe for driving cars and everyday use. I asked for and got goggles with an extra strong mirror lens and the vendor got me what I wanted. I’m very pleased. While these sunglasses look like ski goggles, they have only a single lens so they tend to fog up if you’re doing outside activities that make you sweat during cold weather, so they’re much better for wear in warm to hot weather or cool to cold windy weather than they’d be for skiing or snowboarding when the air isn’t moving. If you have a good anti fog cloth or spray, that should help with winter fogging. They’re also great for ATV, motorcycle, scooter, and inline skating use.
